Contrôle du Ballon
Le ballon est enfin arrivé à North Battleford, nous avons effectué les contrôles techniques necessaires avant tout lancement d'un ballon avec nos amis canadiens Dale et Werner en charge du lancement.
Le ballon est en parfait état et m'amènera sans problème à 40 000 mètres fin mai 2008.
Merci d'avoir encore un peu de patience pour attendre la prochaine fenêtre MTO.
The balloon finally arrived at North Battleford, we carried out the vehicule inspections that were necessary befor any launching of a balloon can be done with our canadians friends Dale and Werner who are in charge of the launching.
The balloon is in a perfect state and will bring to me wthout problems to 40 000 meters at the end of May 2008.
Thank you for still having a little bit of patience yet in waiting for the next open window MTO.

Reading your website I came to the conclusion that the presented data where inconsistent.
You state that the balloon has a volume of 600.000 m3 at an altitude of 40 km but if i make the assumption that I can estimate the volume using the formula of a ball (V=4/3*pi*r3) I come to a volume of appr. 2.2 million m3 using the mentioned diameter of 161 m.
This volume also comes more in line with the general laws of gasses (p*V/T = constant)
Therefore I am puzzeled if the data is consistant.
